The ALPI PAC strongly condemns the heavily armed  demonstration by Hezbollah, Amal Movement and their allies against the judicial system investigating the 2020 Beirut port
explosion. It was an attempt to target peaceful neighborhoods whereby 8 civilians lost their lives and 38 were injured.
Such attacks contravene the law, the Lebanese Armed Forces and Lebanon sovereignty, and undermine all efforts to promote peace and stability.
We urge the international community to intervene and disband these militias and support the upcoming
critical parliamentary elections in spring 2022.
