The American Lebanese Policy Institute Political Action Committee (ALPI PAC) unequivocally condemns the recent escalation in the Israel-Hezbollah conflict. These actions not only threaten regional stability but also place the innocent civilians of both countries at dire risk.
ALPI PAC extends its deepest condolences to the families of all civilian victims, including children, who have tragically lost their lives in this unnecessary and brutal conflict. Our hearts go out to the families of the injured, and we stand in solidarity with those affected by this violence.

We firmly support the Lebanese people who believe that Lebanon should not be dragged into conflicts orchestrated by external powers. Lebanon is being held hostage by Iran and its proxy, Hezbollah, and this
must end. The Lebanese people deserve peace, security, and the right to determine their own future without external interference.
ALPI PAC condemns Iran’s ongoing destabilizing activities in the Middle East and its relentless efforts to
undermine peace initiatives. The international community must urgently address these threats to preserve
regional stability and security. Iran’s actions, through Hezbollah, are a blatant disregard for the sovereignty of Lebanon and the well-being of its people.

ALPI PAC calls for the full implementation of United Nations Resolutions 1559 and 1701 to disarm all militias in Lebanon and to extend the control of the Lebanese government over all its territory. These
resolutions are critical to ensuring Lebanon’s sovereignty and preventing further conflict.

ALPI PAC has maintained open channels of communication throughout this incident, closely monitoring
developments due to their significant impact on American Lebanese and broader US strategic interests. We are deeply concerned about the recent escalations in Lebanon and call on the international community to take decisive action to prevent Hezbollah and Iran from further destabilizing the region.
It is imperative to safeguard Lebanon from being manipulated into conflict. We urge all international
stakeholders to act immediately to protect Lebanon’s sovereignty and prevent further violence. The Lebanese people deserve to live in peace, free from the threats posed by militant groups and their foreign
backers.
